Axyom (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Axyom, we may collect the following information:
Financial Information
- Monthly income
- Monthly expenses
- Savings
- Debt
- Amounts you choose to enter when pausing or logging a purchase decision
Usage Information
- App interactions
- Coaching questions asked in the app
Technical Information
- A generated user identifier used to store your financial profile
Contact Information
- Email address (when you join the waitlist or request early access)
2. Pause Layer and Screen Time
Axyom can show a brief pause screen before apps you choose, a feature called Pause Layer. It uses Apple's Screen Time technology (Family Controls) and works only after you give explicit permission in iOS. Pause Layer is off by default, and you can change your selected apps or turn it off at any time.
When you select apps, Apple gives Axyom anonymous tokens instead of app names. We cannot see which apps you selected. These tokens are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
Axyom does not see what you do inside any app. We do not access shopping carts, purchase history, or transactions, and we never connect to your bank accounts.
If you choose to enter an amount during a pause, it is used for your own progress totals and insights.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve Axyom's services
- Generate personalized financial coaching responses
- Analyze usage to improve the product
- Notify you about product updates, early access, and new features
- Communicate with you regarding your interest in Axyom
You can unsubscribe from communications at any time.
Analytics events may be linked to your account so your progress works across devices, but they are never used for tracking or advertising. Analytics never include bank or transaction data. Amounts you choose to enter are used only for your own progress totals and insights.
4. AI Processing
Some coaching responses are generated using artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic (Claude). Information related to your financial context may be sent to this AI service to generate responses.
Coaching responses are educational and are not financial, investment, tax, legal, or medical advice.
We do not sell your data.
5. Data Storage
Your information is stored on secure servers used by Axyom to provide the app's services.
6. Third-Party Services
Axyom may use trusted third-party services for infrastructure and AI processing, including:
- Railway (backend hosting)
- Anthropic (AI services)
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
